Donate: Bring The National 9/11 Flag to Columbus

HandsOn Central Ohio needs your help to raise $1,000 to host the National 9/11 Flag in Columbus.

As we approach the 10th anniversary of the worst terrorist attack on American soil, it is essential for Columbus citizens to take time to remember, reflect and be empowered to get involved in disaster preparedness.

Destroyed in the aftermath of the World Trade Center attacks on Sept. 11 and stitched back together seven years later by tornado survivors in Greensburg, Kan., the National 9/11 Flag is a testament to the resilience and compassion of the American people.

The National 9/11 Flag is currently on a journey across America through this September. The goal is to display the historic flag at leading venues nationwide, inspiring 300 million Americans with the flag's rich visual history in order to deepen our sense of citizenship, national pride and bolster the spirit of volunteerism on the 9/11 anniversary and year round.

HandsOn Central Ohio needs to raise $1,000 this month in order to host this historic flag in Columbus on Saturday, June 25. Please contact Lee Foster at lfoster@handsoncentralohio.org if you wish to doante. We know that with your help, we can make this happen.
