In Honor of AmeriCorps Week

In honor of AmeriCorps week, HandsOn Central Ohio wants to celebrate and thank all the dedicated AmeriCorps members around the country for the great work they do. They truly are promoting change. The Corporation for National and Community Service is a federal agency that engages more than five million citizens in service. It is the umbrella for the Senior Corps, AmeriCorps, and Learn and Serve America programs. The CNCS also leads President Obama's call to service initiative, United We Serve. They are honoring AmeriCorps members and the work they accomplish by declaring this week of May 10-16th AmeriCorps Week.
