A Great Project: Meal Sorting at LifeCare Alliance

LifeCare Alliance, Central Ohio's premier Meals-on-Wheels provider for thirty years, continues to serve older adults and the chronically ill residents of Franklin and Madison counties 365 days a year. In addition to Meals-on-Wheels, LifeCare Alliance provides nursing services, nurse practitioner, dietitians, wellness center, community senior centers, homemakers and home health aides. The mission of Life Care is to lead our community in identifying and delivering health and nutrition services to meet the community's changing needs.

For this project, volunteers will sort and package frozen food to be delivered to home bound clients of the Meals On Wheels program. Volunteers age 15 and up are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian. All volunteers must wear long pants and close toed shoes.

Location: 670 Harmon Avenue Columbus, OH 43223
