Make a Difference Day: 7 Columbus Volunteer Opportunities

Come be apart of Make A Difference Day Saturday October 22! Make A Difference Day is the largest day of volunteering. In Central Ohio, volunteers can chose from a variety of volunteer opportunities.

HandsOn Central Ohio is coordinating a neighborhood clean-up in the Weinland Park Community, where volunteers will participate in environmental revitalization efforts and be treated to a complimentary lunch.

Here are some other Make A Difference Day service opportunities.

Environment: Help improve the walking trail on the campus of Ohio University-Zanesville. Trail Beautification and Development

Hunger and Homelessness: Come help serve food at Faith Mission.

Help families who are experiencing homelessness by coming to The YWCA Family Center and participate in arts and crafts with youth.

Volunteer with Kids Helping Kids by packing donations that will be donated to the Homeless Families Foundation and The YWCA Family Shelter.

Help the Broad Street Food Pantry distribute 8,000-10,000 pounds of fresh produce to any income-eligible person.

Senior Services: LifeCare Alliance invites you to help deliver Meals-on-Wheels to homebound residents in Franklin County.
